Working at Hyperscience

Working on the Extraction team. Created designs for various projects including: improving the training data management experience, automation strategy and the layout creation experience. Worked closely with the product, application developers and ML developers, as well as the go-to-market teams, making sure to help expand our products offerings and ease of use for the various internal and external users.

Became UX Manager at Feedback Loop

Alpha rebranded and changed its name to Feedback Loop.

Led team growth from a one-man department to a team of four. Managed and mentored designers and researchers in their practice, prioritization, strategy and career growth. Also aided in process changes and product strategy during company growth and strategy shifts.

Graduated Parsons with MFA, Design and Technology

Presented my thesis, Interwoven, an interactive tapestry installation about women in technology. Co-chaired the Thesis Exhibition, where I worked to curate, organize, and budget the end of year thesis show with 53 showcased projects.

Started working at Squarespace

Joined Squarespace as a Commerce Product Design Intern. Delivered all stages of a design project that allowed for customization of user account pages for shop owners in the eCommerce platform and for importing customers into a database from Gmail.

Became a Research Assistant

Focused on helping facilitate a Education Technology and Design course between Parsons, the New School and a New Jersey middle school, in which students collaborated created interactive experiences shown at Earth Day in Jersey City. Also helped research grants and collaborative VR software.

Started studying at Parsons, the New School of Design

Moved to NYC, and began my working towards my MFA in Design and Technology at Parsons, the New School of Design. Wanted to focus on expanding my knowledge and design skills. Learned various skills from HTML/CSS/JS to physical computing and installation experience design. Experimented with many things.

Volunteered with Civic UX Meetup

As part of the OpenIndy Brigade, a few members created Civic which was a dedicated group of volunteers who solved civic issues with their UX skillsets. We've worked directly with IN.gov and various food assistance programs in central Indiana. Our most successful project is Koa11y, a tool for easily finding accessibility issues on the web.

Joined the core volunteer team at Creative Mornings Indy

Helped coordinate day-of volunteers, plan for the upcoming talks based on global topics. The day-of the event worked on signing in attendees and making sure the food and space was set up and torn down.

Began Working at Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Worked on the Content, Email and Integrations teams. Created designs for various projects including: sharing content, uploading and selecting content into the system, integrating and redesigning the admin controls, searching and filtering content and campaign approvals. Worked closely with the UX Researcher working with summative research, and analyzing where UX problems most often occurred and blocked our customers.

I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science focusing on AI, and a Minor in Fine Arts - Studio Arts. On the side I worked for a non profit, ServeIT, and led a small design team to provide other local non profits with technical and UX help.
